Other Details to Note
↠ Please take note of a few IMPORTANT considerations before booking your stay ↞ - Behind our home there is a set of railroad tracks with TRAINS that pass by at varying times. Train enthusiasts will find this particularly delightful, but we want to be fully transparent with our guests about this who may be sensitive to such sounds especially while sleeping. We do have box fans and disposable ear plugs in each room to help with those that like white noise at night. - To ensure the security of our home when it is unoccupied, there is a Ring security camera positioned outside the entry door, the front of the home, and the back of the home. These cameras use motion sensors and do record video and audio. They are only checked if there is an incident or if a guest needs help checking in. There is also a noise monitor in the living room. It does not record video and audio. These are no cameras in the house and no camera that captures the hot tub.. -This house is located in a quiet neighborhood. We do not allow for parties of any size and quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am. - We kindly ask that all vehicles are parked in the driveway and not on the street.

Neighborhood
Located in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston, our house is an ideal place to stay when visiting the Charleston area for work or play. Park Circle is a friendly, eclectic neighborhood conveniently located a short drive from the airport, downtown Charleston, and the beaches (10 minutes to the airport, 12 minutes to the North edge of downtown, and 15-20 minutes to the beaches at Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms, to be more precise). Its also about 10 minutes to Credit One Stadium, the Performing Arts Center, and the Coliseum AND less than five minutes from Firefly and Riverfront for all you concert and festival lovers. Our diverse and open-minded neighborhood is experiencing an exciting revitalization. It is an easily walkable area peppered with several parks, green spaces, and outdoor recreational areas, even its own disc golf course. A new community center opened in November 2023 in the very center of Park Circle, with a huge inclusive playground. We cannot overstate how cool this playground is. Walk to the Farmer’s Market on Thursdays, pick up some craft beers at the Brew Cellar, shop for vintage at The Station. Be sure to visit Stems and Skins, our friendly neighborhood (James Beard nominated) wine bar and try some of our awesome local restaurants. You can walk or bike to Riverfront Park, located just outside of Park Circle on the Cooper River. Riverfront Park is home to the High Water Music Festival, hosts many other concerts and festivals throughout the year, and is a great spot for a picnic. Top Golf and the Tanger Outlet Mall are both about ten minutes away. The last thing we will note about the neighborhood is that it is encircled by train tracks that service Charleston’s port. The trains can create a fun memory for children; however, if you think the noise may bother you, you may want to consider staying in a different part of the Charleston area. Other than the occasional train horn, we think you will find the neighborhood peaceful and quiet.

Most of our guests have driven to themselves to the property. If you’re flying into Charleston International Airport, it’s only an 8-minute drive. Feel free to Uber or Lyft to the home!
